Telur Mata Sapi

I feel disgustingly satisfied. 

It feels like i should feel awful because i just ate six enormous piece of tahu jeletot.after ravishing  half portion of domino’s pizza meatzza and cheezy bread. with coke. 

but you know what? i feel no regret at all. well, a little. but nothing can dissuade me from my love for tahu jeletot. 

some of you may ask, what is tahu jeletot ? well let me introduce you to one of Indonesia’s most delicious ‘snack’. 

 basically, tahu jeletot is a type of deep fried tofu with super spicy filling (I’m not talking about fast food’s spicy- more like, burning in your mouth and your tummy- addicting kinda spicy) .

it is quite big, about as big as your ( or at least, my )  palm and the filling consist of cabbage, carrots,  bean sprouts and chilli, after that, it is deep fried in boiling oil until it turns into this crunchy, very delicious, rich in taste tahu jeletot.

be careful though. you will be addicted to this (not so ) little firecracker!

Sang Penari , or the Dancer ,  is a story about the meeting of traditional culture with the growing politics of indonesia , how does the impact of  modern times blend with the ancient tradition of the old times .

It was haunting , eerily haunting .I dont know much about cinematography , but the way that they shoot the movie was GORGEOUS .

Especially the final scenes , where it shows how important it is for us to stand our ground and to actually understand the situation not just because everyone else does that or because our society say so  . And the ending was just breathtaking , it is bittersweet . How Rassun , the male protagonist and Srintil , the female protagonist , has to sacrifice their love.

And it comes to one question :

“Do you rather choose the one you  love but have to let go what you love to do , or  do what you love but not to be with the one you love ? ”
